ClimateWorks Foundation, a California-based non-profit whose mission is to end the climate crisis by amplifying the power of philanthropy, has reengaged Prime Transatlantic to advise on all aspects of philanthropic funding focused on aviation decarbonization. Prime Transatlantic has advised ClimateWorks on these matters since August 2021.
Our Prime Transatlantic team has multiple decades of experience, both in and outside of government, in creating and shaping policies to address challenges like climate change, air pollution and a sustainable energy transition. Decarbonizing aviation is a formidable challenge that will require significant investments and effective government policies, especially during the next decade that will set the course toward a net-zero 2050 goal for aviation.
On behalf of ClimateWorks, our team will work to seize this crucial moment in combating the climate crisis. We will support ClimateWorks in guiding policies and investment around sustainable aviation fuels, carbon removal, high-quality carbon offsetting, and other aspects of making flying more sustainable.
